Profile Information: Your real name, gender, and college name for your Primary Profile.
Device Information: IP address, device type, and operating system for security and app

Location Data: Approximate location for the Map-based event discovery feature.
2. Dual Profile & Anonymity
Privacy Note: Your Lowkey Profile uses a randomly generated alias. While other
users cannot see your real name when you post via Lowkey, this profile is internally linked
to your Primary Profile to prevent abuse and comply with Indian law.
3. How We Use Your Information
To verify that you are a genuine student.
To facilitate the Student Marketplace and Event Discovery.
To maintain safety and moderate content on the platform.
To comply with legal obligations under the IT Act, 2000.
4. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your verification details and profile
information are stored securely. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.
5. Disclosure of Data
We may disclose your personal information (including the identity behind a Lowkey Profile) only under the
following circumstances:
Legal Requirement: If required by law, court order, or government request (e.g., under
IT Rules, 2021).
Safety: To protect the safety of our users or the public.

As a user, you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your account and associated
personal data. You can exercise these rights through the app settings or by contacting our Grievance Officer
